Millar has developed a wireless pressure technology platform designed for integration with existing medical technology. Ideal applications include enhancing current wired pressure monitoring systems with wireless capabilities to improve the quality of patient care. The current platform design is flexible and can be customized to meet various product development specifications.
Core aspects of the technology utilize communication protocols such as Bluetooth coupled with circuits for physiological monitoring in very small packages. Design control and robust validation procedures to ISO13485 standard mean rapid integration into an OEM partner’s product. Our R&D team has substantial experience in the development of devices for physiological monitoring. We offer a pathway that will get your device concept through feasibility prototypes and into clinical trials efficiently.

After the initial concepts have been vetted, potential partners will work with our engineering team to develop a full proof of concept and may include prototyping, animal trial support, and expert validation.
Stage 3 begins the design control process for testing, validation, and submission for regulatory review.
Millar can help support clinical trials by facilitating first-in-man (FIM) studies and collaborating with leading universities and research programs to collect clinical data.
During Stage 5, we’ll determine what manufacturing processes need to be established, develop final agreements and go-to-market plans.
